Miguel is a partner in the private equity investment team. He’s worked for three years in AltamarCAM’s New York office.
He has over 10 years’ professional experience, including over eight in private equity fund of funds. He rejoined Altamar in June 2013, where he had previously worked (2006–9) as an associate investment director. During 2009–13, he worked as an investment manager in the private equity division of the European Investment Fund (EIF) in Luxembourg, where he made investments in international private equity funds, along with co-investments and investments in secondary and venture capital funds. Previously, he worked at Interdin Corporate Advisory, the company managing the Spanish investments of the private equity fund Giulani-Sage Capital. Before this, he worked as a lawyer in the M&A department of Garrigues.
He holds a double bachelor’s degree in economics and law from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas in Madrid.
