Inés is a partner at AltamarCAM and, in January 2023, was appointed chair of the Spanish client solutions division.
She joined Altamar Private Equity in 2008 as a managing director and became a managing partner in 2011. She was appointed group vice-chair in 2015 and held this position until the end of 2021. Since then, her main focus has been on investor relations and client solutions.
Before joining AltamarCAM in 2008, she was CEO of the Rio Real Group for three years, a Madrid-based family office with majority stakes in the hotel and agricultural sector and minority stakes in listed and private companies. Before this, Inés worked for 16 years as an analyst and director of private equity investments (mainly in the Inversiones Ibersuizas and Inova Capital funds in Spain), being a member of the management committees and boards of directors of several of the investee companies. She began her professional career as an analyst and associate for five years in the mergers and acquisitions department of JP Morgan in New York and Madrid.
She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration (finance and international business), Summa Cum Laude, from Georgetown University in Washington DC.
Beside her role at AltamarCAM, she is currently an independent member of the board of directors, as well as a member of the audit and/or nomination and remuneration committees, of two companies listed on the Spanish stock exchange in the industrial process engineering and glass-manufacturing sectors.
