Ignacio is a partner in the private equity investment team, which he joined when the company was founded in 2004. Since then, he has been actively involved in different areas of the team and firm, with a special focus on executing primary, secondary and co-investment investments. Since 2010, he has led the primary investment effort in Asia and has led or co-led the primary investment effort in Europe.
Before joining Altamar PE, he worked at Arthur Andersen Corporate Finance (today Alpha Corporate (Deloitte)), in the mergers and acquisitions team. He focused on technology, media and telecommunications transactions in the Madrid office. Subsequently, he worked at Ambers&Co, a spin-off from Arthur Andersen’s M&A team in Madrid which today forms part of E&Y. Previously, he completed an internship at Johnson & Johnson (Madrid) and at Santander Investment (London).
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from CUNEF.
