Analyst – Portfolio Operations

Job Description: Main functions

  • Preparation of recurring and ad-hoc reports and analysis for investors, such as quarterly reports on Fund activity, presentations for Annual Meetings and Supervisory Committees, and other value-added content.
  • Participation in the firm’s Business Intelligence project through the control, enrichment, and exploitation of both internal and external databases.
  • Conducting quantitative analysis on the composition and evolution of portfolios for various alternative assets. Supporting monitoring and analysis activities for AltamarCAM Fund investments.
  • Assisting in the creation of value-added content for our clients (current and potential) to position AltamarCAM as a global reference in alternative assets.

Candidate’s profile

  • Recent graduate and/or currently in the final year, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Financial Studies, or Engineering.
  • Up to 1 year of experience in auditing, consulting, banking/investment fund, or related Business Intelligence and Reporting functions in the financial sector will be considered.
  • Demonstrable organizational skills and ability to achieve timely results.
  • Autonomy and proactivity in problem-solving or proposing new ideas.
  • Good communication, organization, and interpersonal skills at all levels.
  • Essential high level of proficiency in both spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and proficiency in German will be valued.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), with knowledge of Power BI being a plus.
  • A strong academic record is indispensable and should be provided along with the CV.
