Cologne, 17 of January 2024 — AltamarCAM Partners, a global asset manager focused on investing in private markets, is pleased to announce the appointment of Oliver D. Oswald as Managing Director and the new Head of Family Offices Germany in Investor Relations. He brings along 20 years of experiences in various senior positions within the Asset & Wealth Management Industry at various major banks and independent advisory firms in Germany, Luxembourg and Switzerland and a broad experience in public & private markets Investments as well as in advising sophisticated clients and family offices.
Oliver joins from Rothschild & Co Germany, where he was responsible for Private Markets Solutions covering ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices and foundations & endowments. He contributed significantly to the fundraising for private markets investments and separate managed accounts of German clients was responsible for advising and managing large private markets portfolios across all private markets asset classes.
Before joining Rothschild & Co, he was a senior partner at a family office in Zurich, where he was responsible for strategic and tactical asset allocation and private markets investments. Previously, he was a member of the Executive Board and Head of Sales Management for UBS Wealth Management’s UHNW & Global Family Office Europe segment. His responsibilities included sales and the development and implementation of holistic solutions for European clients. Prior to that, he held various senior positions in the Alternative Assets division of Deutsche Bank – Asset & Wealth Management in Frankfurt, Geneva and Zurich.
OIiver holds a Master of Finance from the Frankfurt School of Management and Finance and a degree in business administration from Münster University and studied as well at the University of California at Santa Barbara, USA.
