Malaga/Hamburg, October 17, 2024.- Construction has officially begun on the first longevity clinic of the Lanserhof Group, a leader in innovative medicine and longevity, in Spain, in partnership with AltamarCAM Partners, a global investment firm focused on private markets, and Inbest GPF, investment firm specialising in real estate. The first Lanserhof in southern Europe will be located in Finca Cortesín, in the municipality of Casares (Málaga). With an investment of approximately 100 million euros, the project is anticipated to open its doors at the end of 2026.
Lanserhof is the leading operator of health and longevity institutions specialized in innovative medicine, prevention and longevity. Its concept combines the latest medical advances with traditional naturopathy and has been the industry leader for the past 40 years. Today, Lanserhof has three renowned centres in Lans (Austria), Tegernsee and Sylt (Germany).
The new Lanserhof longevity clinic in Spain will feature a new 24,000 m² state-of-the-art building, 71 rooms and will offer state-of-the-art medical services based on the renowed and world-award winning Lanserhof Concept. This project also emphasizes a strong commitment to sustainability, aiming to meet the highest standards in environmental responsibility.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Mr. Juan Luis Villalón, Mayor of Casares, Mr. Manuel Cardeña, President of the Mancomunidad of the Western Costa del Sol, together with representatives of the Lanserhof Group, AltamarCAM Partners, Inbest GPF and Santander Alternative Investments, as the project’s financier.
Mr. Juan Luis Villalón, Mayor of Casares, said that this project “not only represents a significant investment for Casares, but it will also be a key driver for the area’s economic and social development. Job creation will be one of the main benefits, as numerous employment opportunities will be generated both during the construction phase and once the center is operational. For his part, Mr. Manuel Cardeña, President of the Mancomunidad of the Western Costa del Sol, expressed his strong support for the implementation of this project that will add and expand service in the region. “It is a very attractive project that will expand the offer in our region and that is located in an area that is an example of sustainability and innovation such as Finca Cortesín”, he said, while thanking the developers for their commitment to the Costa del Sol.
