Ramón is vice chairman in the advisory team.

Previously to joining AltamarCAM, he was a managing director in the research and investments banking department at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he worked for over 20 years. He was responsible for client coverage in Spain and Portugal.

Previously, he worked for three years at Goldman Sachs. The transactions executed during his career include, among others, the privatisation of Telefónica, Endesa, Repsol, Iberia and Argentaria; the IPOs of companies such as Abengoa Yield, Telefonica Deutschland, Endemol, Tecnicas Reunidas, Vocento, GalpEnergia, BME, Cintra, Telvent, TelePizza, Befesa, Jazztel, Abengoa and Cortefiel; the acquisition of Campofrio by Sigma, eplus by Telefonica Deutschland, Jazztel by France Telecom, Mivisa by Blackstone, Parques Reunidos by Candover, YPF by Repsol, Enersis by Endesa, Antena3TV by Telefonica; the merger of Colombia Telecom and Movistar, Metrocacesa and Bami, Acesa and Aurea, ACS and Dragados; the sale of ONO to Vodafone, O2 Ireland to Hutchison, Avincis to Babcock, Palacios Alimentación to Proa, Guascor to Dresser Rand, Hidrocantabrico to EDP, Gonzalez Byass to GrandMet and Domecq to Allied Lyons.

He graduated summa cum laude in economics from the University of Houston and has an MBA with honours from the same university.
