José is a managing partner in the advisory team.

Before AltamarCAM, he worked as senior responsible for research and investment banking for Bank of America Merrill Lynch for over 15 years, where he was responsible for clients in Spain and Portugal. He has designed, originated and executed a great variety of transactions, such as the purchase of Cimpor by Camargo Correa, Mivisa by Blackstone and Alsa and Continental Auto by National Express; the sale of the Handling Business of FCC to Swissport/PAI, Palacios to Proa Capital, WDF to Autogrill, Grupo Guascor to Dresser Rand;t he mergers of Iberdrola and Iberdrola Renovables, Ferrovial and Cintra, ACS and Dragados and of Metrovacesa and Bami; the defence of Altadis and subsequent purchase by Imperial Tobacco; the takeover of Sacresa by Metrovacesa and defense of Metrovacesa.

Additionally, he has ample experience in IPOs, with those of Vocento, Técnicas Reunidas, Galp Energia, Cintra, AENA and Saeta Yield (ACS) being particular highlights.

He holds a degree in business administration from ICADE and completed an investment banking institute programme from Wharton University.
