Ignacio, CTO of AltamarCAM, is responsible for the area of technology (IT).
Previously, he also developed his work as head of administration and operations. Before joining AltamarCAM, he worked as head of equities IT at BBVA during the last years and as global markets programme manager at the same company for five years.
Previously, he has worked in international consulting companies (Everis and Mannes Technology) as head of numerous projects for large banks and financial institutions, as well as project manager and IT director in Fimatex SA (Société Générale) and Internet and R&D manager in the Spanish derivatives market (MEFF-Bolsa Group and Spanish Markets).
He holds a degree in business studies and a diploma in businesses from the University of León. In addition, he has a master’s degree in networks and communications from CICESA.
He has a Licence of Spanish Market Operator of Derivatives (MEFF). He has collaborated as a lecturer and professor of different courses and master: ICADE as professor of E4, finance master of ICADE, CUNEF, CEU, BME Institute, University of Santiago, University of Salamanca, University of León, University of Castilla-La Mancha, University of Oviedo and master of University of Tulane (USA), among others.
